A fund-raising platform “POSADY!” is launched, to provide Ukrainians with seeds
06.04.2023“POSADY!” is a project by non-government organization “Ekoltava” that helps people from vulnerable social strata supply themselves with sustainable and local food.
In 2022, thanks to support from Ukrainian and European benefactors, over 3 000 Ukrainians from 9 regions have received packages with seeds from “Ekoltava” and “Sady Peremohy”. Among the beneficiaries provided with seeds of basic vegetables there are around 300 retired, 400 temporary unemployed, 800 internally displaced persons, some 300 with disabilities, and large families. During summer and autumn our team has continuously received pictures of grown and canned crops.
In 2023, we resume “POSADY!” and launch a fund-raising platform (www.posady.org.ua). There one may apply for seeds, as well as donate to it. Applications are considered from internally displaced persons, large families, persons with disabilities, unemployed who can not purchase seeds, retired. Donations are accepted from willing Ukrainians and foreigners.
The platform functions in two languages – Ukrainian and English. There, the number of applications and donated sum are displayed. We already have some funds, so we’ve started on purchasing and sending seeds.

Applications are accepted until April 30, 2023.
Packages are delivered through offices of Ukrposhta, so it is important to write the proper address. The number of packages is limited by the number of pledges.
“Ekoltava” stands for sustainable nutrition and local foodstuff. They mean minimization of waste and packaging, decrease of carbon footprint and negative impact on climate.
